The Titan in PvP, definitely could use some help. The one issue I see is the vast difference between the melee abilities. Namely, the range of them. The warlock's melee has very generous reach, and the hunter dashes forward to give it's melee extra reach, which I am not saying is a bad thing. The titans, however have almost no reach on their melee and a melee battle between a titan and either of the other classes will almost always have the hunter/warlock come out as the victor. Shoulder charge could be used, but it is too easy to be killed while using shoulder charge due to, well, shotguns. What I suggest is buffing Juggernaut with an exotic piece meant for it. The idea of Juggernaut is good, being able to charge forward, closing the distance between you anx another player, but it just does not perform well. So this exotic could make it actually viable in crucible.
Exotic Slot: Chest plate
Name: The Wall (could use a better name)
Quote: "Let them cower before your strength"
Tier One: Auto Rifle Ammo: Increased Ammo capacity for auto rifles
Tier Two: Special Weapon Ammo: Increases the amount of Special Weapon Ammo you can carry
Tier Three: The Wall: Juggernaut gains significant additional strength, duration, and size, as well as staying active after completing a jump. (Right now, if you jump while Juggernaut is active, it disappears regardless of the duration when you hit the ground again, or when you reactivate your jump while in the air)
Now before everyone starts yelling at me about this and that, this is only an idea for an exotic that would fix the almost unusability of juggernaut, once again this is only an idea. If this was impremented into the game I am sure it would be tweaked quite a bit, but I feel that it would be a good addition to the game to assist titans in closing the gap between melee ranges, by allowing them to get closer to other classes.

I don't get why people don't like Titans in PVP. I've been playing a lot with it in Control and it destroys. The Lightning grenades alone are worth the price of admission, especially with Armamentarium and full discipline. And there's nothing like Fist of Panicking a Bladedancer. Never gets old. The melee is hot garbage though. No question. There should be en exotic that increases the range on those TRex arms.

Edited by IrI Carroll: 9/6/2015 12:59:51 AMUm. You're joking, yeah? Shoulder charge wrecks. Shoulder charge with Peregrine Greaves allows you to drop a Bladedancer. I run all 3 characters, mate. They all have their parts they excel in. Striker has it's OP melee, lightning grenades, fist of panic with aftermath and all that. Defender's melee sometimes bothers me after running my Warlock, due to that lack of range, but it's a support/defence class so it makes sense.

Titans weak melee is compensated by shoulder charge. A one night tracking melee with no limits on how many times it can be used. Plus with ac DC feedback a a Titan can 1 hit melee you if you hit back. I'd say it's balanced

Y dont they just yweak the perk itself

Here's to all the incompetent people who think FoH and Shoulder charger are "over powered". Yeah we get it, FoH can be easily used for panic but what actual good does that do? Most people like to reach the top of the scoreboard and have their team win and for that, you actually need multiple kills. Now with a titan, we do in fact have the POTENTIAL to rack up multi kills with FoH but when most crowds see a Titan sprinting at them, they usually know what's coming and just gun him/her down before he/she can even get close enough. Yes we can also stop supers, but these single kill only complaints are not enough to deem an ability as OP. Now shoulder charge. We have to be running for quite a while and with most people running thorn/last word, Titans make easy targets due to the fact we don't blink and can be fairly slow, and if we manage to get close and you have a shotgun, you just got yourself a free kill. Now lightning grenades, anyone ever think before opening their mouthes? We have NO fallback grenades. The flash bang and pulse grenade are weak and useless as shit and the ONE grenade we get apparently give us an unfair advantage, no it's not the bolt grenades that can wipe an entire ToO team, no it's -blam!-ing THIS. And yes, I do play as all characters. Look me up if you wish, they are all level 34.

Jugnernaut stays active for like 5 seconds even when you don't jump so bumped
-
Shoulder charge is better still lol

Titan wrecks in PVP, tired of all these posts. Learn to play Titan

Or they could just give him a baton that he clubs people with. Ultimately, I figure shoulder charge is ranged enough.

Every time I turn juggernaut goes away. It's so dumb you have to run perfectly straight.
