'UMIGOD ITS SO HARD ITS AWSUM' is pretty much the only argument I hear in its favour, although the art is pretty cool. At least it was in the first game's art book.

It's not hard, it's like calling something like math hard, you actually bother to learn it, and it's no longer hard.
-
Helps if bugs don't get in the way. I do like hard games, just with simple mechanics. Hard enough without all the RPG stuff layered in. I genuinely do not know my own playstyle. I just play.
-
Bugs? You must mean on your math, Dark Souls has no bugs.

Weapon clipping was awful in the Undead Burg.
-
Weapon clipping?
-
Swing my sword at dead dudes and it clattered into a wall.
-
Maybe you should watch where you swing, do you expect your sword to go straight through the wall?
-
I wasn't close to the wall.
-
So you hit his shield? If there was no wall, then how did you clang off of a wall?
-
Dunno, but it did. It was nowhere near his shield but it hit something, and the wall was in that direction.
-
Was this recently? I've been playing for months and have never encountered any bugs. You should give Dark Souls another chance if you still own it, it's a truly amazing game, and you'd be missing out.

I got it at launch, originally. October 2011, I believe. Tried it again when I think it was a 360 Game with Gold. I'd be willing to try it a third time, maybe.
