What we're saying is that we have the right to call ourselves what we want. Also, we're only speaking for ourselves, not the whole group, as has already been pointed out in this thread. If you want to talk about our clan name, our name isn't about "fighting" for one side, it's about truth in advertising - we're an all-female group, and proud of it, so we put it out there first and foremost. You may prefer the term equalist, and you get to do that. However, seeing as how male privilege continues to exist, no matter what country/context, I'm going to keep calling attention to that by using the term feminist. Sorry if it challenges your fragile worldview of all humanity being equal - that's what it's intended to do.

  • What male privilege explain? Because I don't see any advantage in having a penis? Like explain why you feel inferior because in reality you arent

In short: hundreds of years of inequality have led to a historical and societal disadvantage for women.

If you're actually serious in asking this question, these might help. If you're closed to any potential disconfirming information, then don't bother, you'll just find reasons to ignore or discount the information: https://finallyfeminism101.wordpress.com/2007/03/11/faq-what-is-male-privilege/ http://blog.shrub.com/check-my-what/ http://ilykadamen.blogspot.com/2007/03/occasionally-conversations-with-my-man.html http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brynn-tannehill/pondering-male-privilege-post-transition_b_3744103.html http://everydayfeminism.com/2015/05/proof-male-privilege/ http://www.sap.mit.edu/content/pdf/male_privilege.pdf Also, I need you to understand that I don't feel inferior - I know I'm awesome - but I recognize that if our broader society had its way, I would have internalized that my voice is inferior and shouldn't be expressed. I'd also have internalized that I shouldn't expect to get paid the same amount of money for doing the same job as a man, or that it's ok that my reproductive rights have been and continue to be under attack from men who think they have some rights to my body. Those, among others, are the issues at hand here.
