Is the taken king worth $40
Does the taken king have enough content and playability to be worth $40?

Taken king=$40 Minimum wage where I live is 7.25. 7.25x8=56 Literally a day of work. Yes I know tax is a thing. Thankfully I make more than minimum wage. And I'm aware of the fact people have bills. (I do too. Being an adult is fun :'D) As for the UK players, still bullshit. Anyway, 8 hours of work for 40+ hours of gameplay. I'd say it's worth it Also, if you purchase something and enjoy what you purchased, you made an excellent purchase.

More story, lore, weapons, crucible maps and crucible modes. A Raid bigger than The Vault of Glass, enhanced public events. So yes guardian. It's worth 40 bucks.

Dragon Age: <3 and all of its story-relevant DLC can put it closer to 100. There is also an online F2P mode that uses your real dollars to buy fake dollars for chances at good armor. "Sounds like a trap". Warframe is free to play and 5x grindier than Destiny could ever be. If you do not want to grind, a single character can cost $20 to build. There are 20+ characters. Mind you, I like that game. Destiny by comparison has new modes, characters, "story", weapons, rebalanced gear, raid, and strikes. Destiny at its endgame doesn't have a godmode whereas those other games I listed (and love) do. This makes for a limited experience. I would have paid 7 bucks for each subclass (MK pricing) and 15 bucks for all the modes and missions (Dragon Age story dlc costs)for Destiny. It's a fair price to me mainly due to it all being a shared experience.

No fvck no its worth 2 dollars those asses will still make millions that way. They should just give it to us and just be glad we still play their game when they make mistake after mistake.

3 RepliesNo, should have been 20, it IS a dlc. And free to all season pass holders or anyone who bought the collectors editions in destiny beta. Why it's not? Luke Smith can tell you why not.

4 RepliesHonestly why are so many people making a big deal over 40 dollars? If it is your parents money then why do you care and if it is your money and you actually care about 40 dollars for a game then you shouldn't be wasting your money in games.

But how much forty bucks is worth to you is very much a thing only you can determine. If you don't have much money it's a bigger deal than if you have tons of it, for instance.

6 RepliesI finally pre ordered. Personally I think it will be. From what we know there seems to be almost as many story missions as the original, our characters get another subclass, the biggest raid to date, two new pvp playlists, a bunch of new weapons, plus more stuff they haven't revealed. But, as with any form of entertainment, "Worth the price" is subjective.
