Guy sent me a code for the Red Sparrow I already had. Then Totally redeemed himself and sent me the real Blacksmith Shader code and let me keep the Sparrow code.
Check out my Characters now.
Hater's Gonna Hate.
Just feel like venting. Also I know i'm an idiot.
Edit: Currently the Report function on Ebay will not let me dispute the charge because the seller put a ship date on the item. It thinks it hasn't had time to arrive yet, so its delaying the process.
Edit 2: I've talked to the Seller through email and he seems sincere that this was an error on his end and will get me the real code shortly. Until then, I have to wait.
Edit 3: Y'all get hostile in the mornings. Have a Snickers®.
Edit 4: The salt is real.
Edit 5: Lol @ all the comments stating how pathetic I am. What's money for if not to buy what you want?
Edit 6: By the logic shown in this thread everything anyone ever bought was pointless. "You didn't get the McDonald hamburger you paid for because the guy forgot to put it in your bag? Well go fuçk yourself to death."
Edit 7: Full grown adult. Getting accused of being so young I don't know what money's for. Well in your face because if anything I'm way too old to have thrown money away so carelessly. Jokes on youuuuu!
EDIT 8: Thanks to the community for the support. Thanks also for all the hatred. The hatred fuels me and burns me deep inside my soul. Keep struggling all you haters. Someday someone will hate you as much as you hate the world.
Edit 9: I posted it as a response earlier but its buried now; yes the shader was "free" with preorder of CoD, but I'm not a CoD fan, so I missed my chance. With E3 and the resurgence of the shader, I decided I had to get one. I obviously didn't attend, so I did the next best thing and paid for someone else's code.
For the people saying I spent real money for virtual items, what do you think you're doing when you take a trip, vacation, or holiday? You're paying real money to go look at stuff and be somewhere you weren't before, but when it's over, then what? Same difference really.

As much as I hates scams especially ones with The Blacksmith Shader codes its 100% your fault never trust someone you don't know without seeing valid proof first.

Edited by TimboLextown: 9/5/2015 8:56:49 AMI'm sure Bungie is reading this thinking, "Hey, we'll just start charging them! Throw your money at the screen, folks!"
-
Hahahaha!
-
Complain to ebay that you didn't receive what was advertised. But I have to say, paying that amount for a shader is ludicrous.
-
Are...you...retarded?
-
What's with the sudden demand for blacksmith shaders? Like a year after they were a aw pre order incentive people want them?.. it's barely even good to begin with. But either way it sucks you got scammed.
-
You can report the seller to ebay and sew his ass or get him arrested.
-
Ebay refunds false advertising, so i heard
-
Open an eBay case or tell the buyer to send a real code
-
Lmao.... wow...lol...just wow
-
If he listed it as the blacksmith shader and did not mention the red sparrow is what he is selling instead then you can contact Ebay and they will give you the money back and they will ban the account. If he is a repeat offender they will find him.
-
Your rich, thanks for rubbing it in.
-
Can't you get a refund?
-
Spent more on one item in the game than the cost of the game itself .... I'll just grab my coat and leave ....
-
Can I have the code please?
-
Maybe this will cheer you up?
-
I got a hold of him on ebay and he says he "derped hard" and sent the wrong code by mistake. He'll send the real code when he gets home from work he says. Its too early to dispute the transaction because he put in a ship-date, even though its a digital code that he emailed me. I'm going to do whatever it takes to get my money back. Its not a big deal in the long run, its just the principle.
-
Dispute it with eBay customer support. Either way, you might get a refund.
-
What red sparrow?
-
My brother got scammed out of 75 dollars buying me one. Gave us a false code, so he bought me a new one. Costed a lot, but he didn't care. Sorry to hear that, some douchebags out there. Call ebay and tell them you got scammed, I'm sire you'll get your money back.
