Just paid $75 for a Blacksmith Shader on Ebay.
Guy sent me a code for the Red Sparrow I already had. [b]Then Totally redeemed himself and sent me the real Blacksmith Shader code and let me keep the Sparrow code. [/b]

Edit: Currently the Report function on Ebay will not let me dispute the charge because the seller put a ship date on the item. It thinks it hasn't had time to arrive yet, so its delaying the process.
Edit 2: I've talked to the Seller through email and he seems sincere that this was an error on his end and will get me the real code shortly. Until then, I have to wait.
Edit 3: Y'all get hostile in the mornings. Have a Snickers®.

Edit 9: I posted it as a response earlier but its buried now; yes the shader was "free" with preorder of CoD, but I'm not a CoD fan, so I missed my chance. With E3 and the resurgence of the shader, I decided I had to get one. I obviously didn't attend, so I did the next best thing and paid for someone else's code.
For the people saying I spent real money for virtual items, what do you think you're doing when you take a trip, vacation, or holiday? You're paying real money to go look at stuff and be somewhere you weren't before, but when it's over, then what? Same difference really.

Speak to PayPal they should be able to help too (think at least 75% is covered) Whatever you do, don't let him get away with it. Challenge him, leave bad feedback to warn others and give him hell, guardian.

See, Bungie should read this and have their own auctioning system where they get 20% or more of the money spent on stupid stuff like shaders and sparrows and ghosts. It's no different than a free MOBA where people spend hundreds of dollars on different skins for free characters. It doesn't change the game, just makes them happy. I don't understand it, but if OP spends his money on it then and it makes him happy, have at it.

2 RepliesOpen a paypal case saying "item not as described". They will get your money back. My full time job is selling on eBay. Did you email him? Maybe he made an honest mistake and sent the wrong one.

1 Replyif you didn't get exactly what you asked for then ebay should refund you. It's up to the seller to prove you got what you asked for, if they cannot, then you get full refund. Open a case immediately.
