The other night, I had 1 hour to play. Randomly, I decided to pursue one of the few exotics I had yet to obtain--the Vex Mythoclast. I jumped on Destiny App for LFG and found a team with Atheon Hard Checkpoint. The team was a hodge-podge of no-Mics, fake know-it-alls ("I've totally beaten Atheon first try before"--yeah right kid), and a few people who knew what to do. After six attempts, and with three guardians already dead in this final round, we beat Atheon after my relic's bubble shield disappeared--some of the vets noted his low health and maintained fire until he died. Reward roll? everyone gets sparrows and some ships, most get armor, one person gets Atheons Epilogue while another gets Praedyth's revenge. One kid gets Vex and screams in the mic!! Me? A repeat raid helmet. Saddened I go to tower with the vex kid saying I wanted it but I'm thrilled at least someone in our group got one. Go to the package area to pick up overstocked engrams and loot and voila!!! Vex Waiting for me in tower!! I LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!
