That is a giant misnomer that was created by people who take it as a negative interaction. Teabagging has always been a way to communicate to the other team that they are doing well against you. Once you dethrone them, they teabag you back as a salutation to show you have gotten better and stepped up your game to rival there skill. If you take a teabag as something negative, then you sir, need to lighten up. #baggingthebest

OK, maybe it was created for the purpose you stated. I can see that. But it has definitely lost that meaning; just look around, pretty much everyone sees tbagging as a sign of disrespectful gloating. Sad but true.

Stop perceiving the action as a sign of disrespect. It all starts with you. "Life is 10 percent what you make it and 90 percent how you take it" - Irving Berlin

What I think has zero effect on another's intent. I'm sorry but it takes more than an idealistic quote to change my mind; too much of a realist. :P
-
Not a realist, but a pessimist ...... It comes back to how you perceive it, he could be doing out of fun, but your still accepting it as an insult. Unless you are talking to him you wouldn't know correct? So when you get bagged, laugh it off and bag him back. I have friends how bag me during strikes and nightfalls when i get downed. It's all in good fun and its just funny.

Meh, agree to disagree; I know myself very well. I will interpret things the way they are intended. If one of my buddies tags me, I'll take it as playful teasing because that's how they intended it. If a random opponent in Trials tbags me I'll take it as a sign of disrespect because that is 99% of the time what he intended. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a grown man and am no thin skinned pansy who trembles at the thought of being in conflict (those people nauseate me). Interpreting input in a way to please one's self is something I refuse to do. Also, here's an inaccurate but funny story of a pessimistic, optimist, and realist. There is a huge storm going on: the optimist says, "look at all the beautiful rain", the pessimist complains, "terrible weather as always", and the realist takes shelter.

If you were a bagel, you would be a plain one.
