[spoiler]I just read on Bungie's news briefing that all open year 1 bounties will be lost after 9/8. I'm in the middle of three exotic weapon bounties. Will these also be lost after 9/8? That would be incredibly frustrating, if so.[/spoiler]

No, in the update it stated that all exotic bounties would autocomplete, so you'd get your three weapons right away. :)

If you read two lines down from that it states that exotic bounties will be auto completed at their designated vendor. So you don't need to complete exotic bounties, you'll be given the weapon the next time you talk to the correct vendor. Congrats you get 3 freebies

Right, read the new feed from yesterday, only open normal bountys will be removed completed bounty's will remain and exotic bounty's will be auto completed for you. You're welcome.
