Is it so hard for bungie to just set timers on different events instead of of just cutting content we paid for.?

Technically these events are/were free. Even people that didn't have TDB could do Blades of Crota and people that didn't have HoW could do Wolves. They could even pick up the bounties and do them for Petra.
-
Destiny world evolves with time. Those wolves we killed are gone now. Time to kick some taken ass
-
Having a ton of different events active can be really taxing on the memory. This wouldn't be as big of a problem if destiny wasn't also on last gen
-
It has nothing to do with consoles, it is all about how bungie codes things. If they stagger the times of events to never launch at the same time, it won't be a problem. Shit last night in the middle of a wolf pack, a pub event started, so you are wrong about that.

Edited by TechRonin: 9/4/2015 3:10:54 PMMy favorite is skywatch when enemies move against each other, Warsat drops and wolves prowl at the same time. Good times!
-
That proves we can have all those events at the same time.
-
The are themed to the current story arc are are referenced as limited time events. Knights provided the "Husk of the Pit" Wolves provide "Treasure Key" and I assume that the Taken will provide "Runes" for the Court or Orxy
-
Sill didn't change they are cutting content in a game with almost no damn content.
-
They are not cutting content as they have said from that start that are limited time events. Just like the McRib is always a limited time event. Mickey D's is not cutting the menu when the McRibs go away
-
Sigh this isn't a fast food joint, this is a video game, games live and die by their content, this game has none, cutting out content for the sake of story is a shit excuse. Why not keep it for noobs to do, or for older players to go back and do for fun. There is no reason to get rid of the wolves outside of the fact the nuthugger will defend it to the bitter end.
-
My guess is that you would complain about anything and this is just an excuse to share your misery.
-
Nope just the bullshit that is Destiny, cause I wanted to love this game more, but bungie is so full of shit I'm just wishing for its death at this point.
-
Then stop playing and trolling the forums and go away.
-
I have slowed down on playing, and in not telling, just proving you and your shit argument wrong.
-
I wanted to love this game more, but bungie is so full of shit I'm just wishing for its death at this point.
Sharing your misery
-
Still reaching huh?
-
Yup, reached out and grabbed your own words.
I have slowed down on playing
3.5 Hours in the last 24 hours? How much did you play before you "slowed down"?
-
You proved I was correct about sharing your misery by your own admission and you have failed to prove that Bungie is cutting content that they have said along was available for a limited time. All you did was bitch an moan.
-
Wolves are nothing but a method to get keys. You can still get keys by farming 28 Poe which does take long at all and seems to be more consistent and you really only need one Husk of the Pit. I will not miss the wolves any more then I missed the knights

Edited by TheGodAmongMen: 9/4/2015 2:26:15 PMIf they don't have them active at all it does free up space... Also there is no point in having them active anymore. I never said they couldn't happen at the same time dude...
-
Might be an issue with them wanting some time to breath. Otherwise at some point the games areas are always in constant conflict. I would say then that maybe some should happen at the same time, but then maybe consoles couldn't handle all of that going on at once. Technical and design problems are there and not always so obvious, those are the obvious ones to me. Who knows if they are though, or that there aren't others. Of course there's always the simple idea that it's a creative decision. Events are happening, time is passing in universe. Which I don't really mind, though it is sad to see things go.
-
Im on ps3 and have had pub events and wolves/sword bearers happen at same time.
-
Which is cool and all, but it doesn't make anything I said carry any less weight. At least not much.
-
Oh I didn't mean it to be that way, I was just pointing out that it can and has happened before, and had no negitive impact on game play.
-
Well yeah so far, should they have kept everything when is it too much? Some things gotta give, and I don't mind this too much. So long as they give alternate routes for stuff like ingame features that played off of them.
