Yeah they do my friend always does it in trials
Especially foh one when he super in bubble you jump out of bubble and the bubble will protect you (it'll break but protect you)

You would have to be well away from the bubble and jumping as fast as possible as horizontal as possible. Shockwave will screw you (not contained by the bubble), jumping vertically will screw you (FOH has huge vertical component). Jumping at the same time as the FOH going off will never get you far enough away. What your friend is doing is running away early.
