What are those going to do vs constructs that stretch from star to star, are literally invulnerable to everything that isn't a Halo and can cut through planets like a knife through warm butter?

The bullets would melt. And if there are that many of them in the same place we would MAC or Glass them from orbit. Star Wars doesn't seem to have that many ship-to-ground WMD, while Halo has glassing, MACs, havok nukes and generally hitting the planet with their freaking ship.
