The most badass Warlock ever is Ikora. Before being a boring Vanguard, she flew solo missions all across the system, -blam!-ing shit up with her Invective. Or Osiris, who wasn't insane, but was exiled for asking what the Speaker deemed to be the wrong questions

Toland had the balls (mental instability) to try to recreate a weapon of hive design that would corrupt and eat away at its user.

Edited by Ruin Tree: 9/4/2015 12:14:16 AMYeah, good point. And he hunted for the secret of Ir Yut's song. I think he was more obsessed with the Hive than anything I've seen
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/150468655/0/0
Edited by GorillaJooce: 9/4/2015 12:20:55 AMYup. Literally wanted to understand a song that manifested the death of whoever hears it. Still, Ikora and Osiris are both quite high up on the badassery scale. Toland was the most metal, though. And that post you linked is really cool. I never considered the Shrine mentioned in that card to be one that the we actually encounter, let alone directly influence.
