If they truly followed the words of the Bible word for word yes. But modern Christians pick she choose what they like so no.

Mind explaining? In my childhood, I acquired a broad scope of the Christian Religion. In my studies, I've acquired a broader scope of the Law. I actually minored in Law. I digress. Mind explaining?

Ephesians 5:22-24 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Exodus 35:2 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Common scripture in this type of argument. The Sabbath was part of the mosaic Law, which was done so that the Jews would have some sort of guidelines to follow since they didn't have the Bible. A big part of this Law is reconciling your sins with God. The Mosaic Law was done away with by Jesus who replaced it with, "Love God with all your whole mind, your whole body and your whole mind. Love thy Neighbor as oneself." These aren't word for word what they say as I'm pulling it from memory but it says it along those lines. If you wish, I can pull up the exact scriptures if you want to be petty.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.” (Matthew 5:17) Jesus didn't abolish shit

29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[b] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no commandment greater than these.” No need for cursing.

So why can't Christians love gay people as they would themselves. It's not like if we all accept them they will go to heaven. If God doesn't like it then he will send them to hell anyways so just let them have their way in this life.
So why can't Christians love gay people as they would themselves.
Because gays violate the Bible, God's word. Murderers and rapist violate the Bible too, by your logic, they should accept them as who they are.
It's not like if we all accept them they will go to heaven. If God doesn't like it then he will send them to hell anyways so just let them have their way in this life.
But it isn't about that. It's about someone being punished for following their religion.
