Hello guys this is my latest installment of my new and only series "The Rings of Saturn". Please leave a comment below (good or bad) but mostly enjoy! "We're ready" Cozmo yelled. He and his teammates walked up to Zavala, who was standing in the hangar by they're ships staring intently into the ground, and Cayde stood next to Zavala doing the same. "You guys okay?" (Cayde)- We've been better.... But uh we decided that Ikora should come with you for umm...research purposes. "Alright well where is Ikora?"Cozmo asked curiously. (Cayde)- I don't know Carrot she hasn't been in the tower since I told her she was coming with you. "OKAY DO YOU SERIOUSLY THINK THATS MY..." Before Cozmo could finish talking a purple and red ship blasted through the hangar to land , it was a Regulus Class XX9. When the ship landed the cockpit popped open almost immediately, unveiling Ikora standing up yelling (Ikora)- COME ON LETS GO!! "Well I guess that's are que, come on Guys" Cozmo said to his team. But before Cozmo could leave Cayde tapped him on his shoulder. (Cayde)- Hey good luck out there Cozmo. "So you do know my name" Cayde chuckled (Cayde)- NOPE I JUST READ YOUR NAMETAG! Cayde said laughing badly. "You son of a b...." (Ikora)- LETS GO! Cozmo walked up to his bright blue ship muttering profanity. He climbed his ladder and hopped in his cockpit, he looked at all his buttons and turned them all from red to green except for his eject button. "Everything looks good, flap movement is good thrusters are good and everything else checks out" he threw a thumbs up to Ikora, and his teammates soon after. They all slipped on they're helmets making the comms come to life. (Hannah)- Anyone copy? "I read you, everyone turn they're engine level to 75 and initiate thrusters in 30 seconds. 30 seconds later they all initiated they're thrusters and jerked the engine bar back and they blasted out of the hangar and hit 5000 MPH in a matter of seconds and then broke the atmosphere at 17,000 MPH. They broke the atmosphere and orbited Earth "Alright accelerate to 30,000 MPH also set coordance for Saturn and turn your hyper drives on standby (Caroline)- Copy that. Said Caroline as did everyone else. Cozmos teammates gave him a thumbs up. "Alright accelerate to hyper speed and enter hyper space. Cozmo flicked a switch and sped up to the speed of light and everything went from clear to blurry for a minute then all he could see were blue blurry lines flying past him. (Ikora)- I hate hyperspace. "Yes I'm not fond of it either" Cozmo said. They were out of hyperspace in about 40 seconds, And found themselves orbiting a massive tan colored planet-Saturn. "Wow its..its massive" Cozmo stuttered. (Caroline)- It's beautiful! (Hannah)- but it's probably infested with darkness like everything else. Caroline's heart sunk instantly at the word darkness. (Ikora)- Wow way to bring they're spirits up. (Hannah)- Yep (Ikora)- Well we need to get down to business, let's explore the first part of the ring on top first. "Sounds good" They banked hard to the left And entered the ring. "It looks a lot cleaner from the outside" Cozmo said as he spun dodging two giant rocks. (Hannah)- yeah I can't see shit ! (Ikora)- If you want to see better turn off your lights. Ikora said impatiently. "Copy that" They all turned off they're lights but figured out the dust didn't bother them but they couldn't see the rocks. "Ikora what if we flew a little bit above the ring but not to high so we can still see inside the ring?" (Ikora)- Good idea, everybody pull.... *hard clank of metal* OH NO! Ikora's left wing was hit by a good sized rock damaging her steering assistance. (Ikora)- I'm hit I'm hit! I repeat I am hit! "Just pull up so you can get out of here" Cozmo said. (Ikora)- I can't pull up my steering is damaged! "Ok everyone else pull up I'll help Ikora. (Fireteam)- ok copy that. Cozmo pulled his ship toward Ikoras and went under her ship (Ikora)- WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOUR GONNA GET U...... Cozmo jerked his steering control bar up and used a good portion of his strength trying to pull up. (Hannah)- Come on Carrot pull up!!! The word carrot angered Cozmo and he used all of his strength to pull up the ship, he screamed when his arm burned from pulling up. Finally he pulled them out of the ring and his adrenaline slowly went down as he breathed heavily. (Ikora)- Thanks "Uhh how bad is the damage" Cozmo said tiredly. (Ikora)- well I can't pull up. "Well I don't know what we can do about that right now" (Caroline)- Uh sorry to interrupt but there's 4 Cabal fighters approaching are position, at attack speed. "Oh wonderful...Cozmo said sarcastically." Alright split up into two groups and try and flank them. Turn on your artillery and use the tracking missiles to take them out." (Fireteam)- Copy that! "Caroline come with me, Hannah go with Ikora! Cozmo exclaimed. Cozmo and Caroline banked right and the others went left. Alright let's loop around and we'll get them from the back. (Caroline)- Okay sounds good. They sped up to 37,000 MPH and looped around to flank the enemy fighters. "Alright I have one on target im going for it!" (Caroline)- same here! They spun they're ships and fired the missiles while they spun. The missiles spun around each other Several times then split up and tracked separate targets. The Cabal flew straight up trying to outrun the missiles and after about 17 seconds of going up the missiles stopped tracking. "Damn it!!" "They can dodge tracking missiles, Any ideas? (Caroline)- Yep Caroline banked off to the left and flew up towards the Cabal. "Where are you going, what are you doing?!" (Caroline)- Meeting them head on. Caroline flew up till she was around the same level. She flew away from them and then turned around and flew right at the Cabal head on, the Cabal did the same.Then when she was about 12 feet away when she popped off her window from the cockpit grabbed an RPG-Truth from her back and initiated golden gun . Caroline did a slow low gravity backflip out of the cockpit with golden gun in one hand and Truth in the other in mid back flip she fired a rocket at the fighter on the left about 6 feet away from her it hit perfectly making a huge explosion. Then she fired a round from golden gun with deadly perfect accuracy. It went through the pilot psions head desinigrating him, and went through the rest of the ship and out of the engine in the back. She soared through the explosion full of solar energy and finished the backflip with landing perfectly in her seat inside her ship. (Caroline)- WHOOOOOO HOOOOOO!! Cozmos jaw dropped in awe "how did you... I'm I'm amazed." Cozmo stuttered but he quickly gained his senses back and flew in Ikoras direction to help out. When he got closer he could see that they were being chased aggressively. (Ikora)- I can't see him, Hannah can you get this one?! One of the fighters opened fire on Hannah and the back of her ship was hit by slug bullets, and smoke emerged soon after. (Hannah)- UGGHH JUST PULL UP IKORA WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE! The same Cabal fighter that fired at Hannah fired a highly devastating solar missile at Ikora. "IKORA PULL UP NOW" (Ikora)- Ok I'm pulling up..wait I can't my.. The missile found its target and Ikoras ship went up in a massive Solar explosion and static owned the comms. Sooo what did you guys think?please leave a comment below!
