A lion would do the same. Survival of the fittest if it cant move you eat it they dont have time to drag it somewhere else and kill it there are other animals out there too. If it was an animal like a leopard or a jaguar its basically the same story except they would be able to bring it to a secluded area and kill it. Such as a tree. For example they are so strong they can grab their prey with their jaws and climb up a tree backwards and just eat it up there with no troubles whatsoever besides another one of their kind.
