This thread discusses stuff we saw in the stream that I think could lead to some problems, so I guess don't read it if you don't want to know anything about the court of oryx.
In the stream, we learned that only one player can activate a court of oryx ritual at a time. To prevent that one player from doing another ritual immediately afterwards, he gets a 45 second timeout preventing to potentially give another player a turn to start a ritual.
Imagine a scenario with 9 players in the court of oryx area and all of them want to use a rune. At the end of one person's turn, all of the players will rush to be the first to use their runes. Only the person who just used the rune will have the debuff cooldown, so any other person in area could start an event. After this second event, nothing is preventing the first person from starting a new event again and not giving a turn to someone else who is waiting.
This could easily cause a situation where lots of players are upset at eachother and will be reporting eachother a lot.
It would seem you would WANT a lot of people in the area to finish these events more quickly, however the more people there are, the more competition there will be for who gets to go next.
This problem is aggravated by the fact that you can't just spawn into the court of oryx, you have to walk through a bunch of the dreadnaught before you can get there. So if there's too many people who aren't sharing in your area, it will take you a good chunk of time to leave and get back and when you do get back you might find another bubble which is also full and has the same problem.
I can see some players potentially trying for more than an hour to get their own event started and not being able to do so.
[b]Potential solutions:[/b ] The best possible fix for this IMO would be to give everyone who participates in the events equivalent rewards as long as they have the item that permits players to start the ritual in question (this would effectively let more than one player use the same key to start the ritual at once and get the corresponding reward). Letting players spawn directly into the court of oryx as a destination would also help with this (you could leave and come back more quickly if there were too many people not sharing).
What is everyone else's thoughts on this?
