I got screwed with elder cipher!
So I have never done skolas before ever. Yesterday for moments of triumph I'd get it done. So as I play and win I get an elder cipher. Was so excited I did Poe 35 again with another character. As I play and win I get yet another elder cipher. Now that I had two I scooted over to the prison of elders guy to retrieve my new weapon bounties. Now I say again I had 2!!!!!!!! Elder ciphers which means!!!!!!!! I should get to pick 2!!!!!!! Weapons!!!!!!. That wasn't the case thanks to bungie and this shit game. Instead both!!!!! Elder ciphers counted as 1 weapon. So now I'm stuck getting the same God dam gun twice !!!!!! FML

Before I deleted second character which was the same one as my first one I put the second elder cipher to my first character. Now my first character has 2 chipers when I turn them in to the guy. The one selection that I chose which was the shotgun counted for both ciphers

No the "2nd" Elder cipher you got is infact just the completed 1st Elder Cipher, same exact thing happened to me yesterday

not following you. you had 1 cipher each on two different characters? did you complete both of them? if so after you completed the first one and you picked a weapon, what happened to the other one on the other character? did it just vanish or what?

This has been a glitch ever since the DLC came out but because you've only beaten Skolas now you've just realized it. It wasn't a fail, you didn't get "screwed". You just didn't Edit: didn't see you said you did it on two different characters, my bad. The issue your having is you thin you can access both on 1 character, when you actually have to complete the bounty on the character that you received it

How? They are on separate chapters as separate bounties. I'm doing 2 on 2 different characters right now.
