It annoys me that Bungie shows all this cool action with the ships in cinematics, but have yet to actually let us use the ships for anything other than showing off. It's really a waste of talent, because those ships unless ripped out of the game and put into another game will never be used to their full potential. I mean seriously if Bungie added a black void with a bunch of little dots representing stars and then let you fly to the planet it would make the game more fun, plus they don't need much work. They already have the animations of you arriving to the planet and they only need a UI for the ships and just replace the model of the current flying vehicles with your ship and add a few things here and there and there's your interactive map turned into a "flying sim". Bungie please add this and you will change destiny for the better, you literally can't go wrong with this, and it would really make it seem like you're actually exploring the galaxy other than just porting throughout it without doing anything. It could be optional. You could also add shit to shoot and I mean its not like its your first time doing something like this, example: Halo Reach, or anything flying in Halo. You've got the backend to it just make use of it, you could seriously make Destiny into something much bigger if not this Destiny then Destiny 2.
