Is the Bungie Code of Conduct, and by extension, its rule set, what you would consider adequte by internet forum standards?
For a reference to past rules, and how they affected the online landscape of this site, here's an example from the pre-Destiny website:
The Flood Forum (Circa 2011)
Do keep in mind that the forum layout has changed, and the userbase has exploded, since the times of those rules. However, do you think what we have in place now is sufficient? Do we need stricter guidelines? Do we need more lenient rules? What's your input?

We need some sort of middle ground between what the rules were and what the rules are. There are a lot of things that should be restricted more, as others have already mentioned in this thread. However, I do think that going to what they used to be would be way too extreme, not only because strict rules can sometimes suck, but because it would be a complete 180 compared to what Bungie has been doing as a company for the last few years. I'm not going to say that's good or bad, but there must be a compromise that can be made to both stay with the philosophies Bungie has adopted and still keep the forums a little cleaner. This would obviously require less leniency, but I for one will say I was personally happy with the effects of the change on myself as a member. Where before I could be banned because of other people's actions or because I decided that a one-word response was adequate for a "yes or no" question thread. I would make the claim that bungie.net is a more than adequate forum in most ways, even in terms of rules. However, I don't actually have much experience with forums other than this one, so I might be biased on that point.
