For those who don't know, any guardian who has either purchased both Destiny Expansions (The Dark Below and House Of Wolves) or has reached light level 30 with one of their characters before 8/31/2015 is rewarded with exclusive VIP rewards upon purchase of TTK. These VIP rewards include the following exclusives: -The "Brave Ghost Shell" -The "Be Brave Emblem" -The "Old Guard Shader" -And Finally the "S-34 Ravensteel Sparrow" For a more detailed explanation look here [spoiler][[http://youtu.be/avgDrWX3Rxo]link[/url]link[/url][/spoiler] These rewards are fairly earned by those guardians who committed themselves to year one Destiny and saying that, Thank you Bungie... [b]BUT[/b]... I would like to offer a thought : -These rewards are a great way for year one players to show off their veteran status, but at the same time, [b]they're worse than other content![/b] As to avoid confusion, I am referring to the VIP "S-34 Ravensteel Sparrow". From how I understand (or possibly from how we've been mislead to believe) this Sparrow acts similarly to a [b]rare sparrow boasted with a legendary drive core[/b]. This means that it lacks the "both trigger boost" that prime legendary sparrows like Timebreaker and Graverobber have. How are we supposed to show off our rewards when we are falling behind the other faster guardians? Shouldn't our devotion be worth [b]a valuable and respectable reward?[/b]. [b]THE IMPORTANT PART![/b] I'm not posting this to criticize Bungie, in fact I'm here to recommend an idea to them. [b]Why not make the S-34 Ravensteel Sparrow an Exotic???[/b]. Now that would be a reward I would like to show off! Please, if not an exotic, bring it to par with sparrows like Timebreaker. You say you truly care for your veterans - This would be a amazing way to show it! Please, Cozmo, Deej, Bungie, take this thought under some deep consideration, and don't let your veterans fall behind the younger players and their faster sparrows. Thank you. Keep this in mind when thinking about ways we can have the S-34 Ravensteel sparrow stand out amongst the rest!
