AFAIK, that is just a rumor. I've not seen an official statement, only people claiming such. That would suck for 360 players. I doubt microsoft would stop a service that makes them money.

Dang. Even if people were still paying for live service on 360? There's still people that haven't upgraded, it's hard to imagine them cutting off that revenue source.
