Is the scoutrifle from the Trials of Osiris called the scholar good in PvP or PvE? Just went 9-0 in ToO and got this scoutrifle from the chest. Skip to the end of the video to see me opening the chest and showing the perks of the gun.

Edited by etman1030: 9/1/2015 6:09:44 PMIts amazing in combined arms as it has good aim assist for easy headshots and crits 73 at almost any range, not to mention that amazing stability. When reactive reload is active it hits over 90 on crits. In crucible its a good weapon to run with shotgun on maps like pantheon, rusted lands, shores of time, and widows court. Obviously it won't beat thorn and TLW every time but at far enough range it will dominate. The key to success with this weapon is to work its range. Don't let enemies anywhere near you and pick them off with ease

Void is least useful outside of burns because only minotaurs and that one PoE cabal have void shields. As a scout rifle, I like the feel of it but not noticeably over say, Fang or Vision or MIDA...

Well it's a scout rifle so is bet in mid-long range fights. You'd want to equip a sidearm or shotgun in your special slot so account for the close range encounters. Scout rifles are getting a slight buff in this next weapons tune up. Also, the scholar perks are always the same no matter the burn on it and the perks are "ok".
