I am honored to have met Lt. Gliniewicz. He was a great person who cared about everybody. I will never forget how his presence alone made you feel good and his enthusiasm made you want to get shit done. LT you will be greatly missed, thank you for your service to the community and everything you have done. I will see you on the other side brother. 6740 we have it from here. End of Watch:9/1/15

Yea watched coverage of this WGN for a while today. All those cops lugging around all that gear in this -blam!-ing heat. Gotta admire their dedication. I'm sure they will find these guys at some point.

Like if you read it as broom sticks.
i would be scared if i was you
I was thinking, if you've been in a lockdown drill you know how it works and how you basically just sit in a corner waiting for them to leave even though why they do that makes no sense. How the -blam!- is every classroom going to be empty on a school day? Anyways, I was thinking everyone in the school would probably have a better chance at surviving if every one ran at the guy with a gun. Just sayin.

School shooting pls

Why don't people use shot guns in school shootings... You want to talk about massacres, fire a 12 gauge at a group of students 15 yards away and tell me how much worse ar-15s are. You wouldn't even have to aim and the psychological effect from the sound, would keep most of the people with hero complexes at bay... Hell, even those wounded would be in excruciating pain and much more likely to die.

Edited by Loobo: 9/2/2015 2:16:10 AMBelieve it or not about 2 years ago there was a stabbing at a college like 3 minutes from my house. 2 (or 1 I forgot) guys burst in, stabbed, and killed multiple people with box knifes and screwdrivers. What's scary is that my neighbor was there and said that they locked the doors. Apparently a girl banged on their door and screamed to let her in. Because the teachers were told to keep the doors shut for everyone I'm pretty sure she got stabbed right there. Luckily one of the guys got his ass whooped by some of the guys at the college and were able to stop him until the police came. This may not be 100% accurate because I don't fully remember it. I live in Houston Texas and this took place at Lone Star college.

Edited by LeatherDaddy88: 9/1/2015 11:03:03 PMSomone brought a gun to my highschool. I was in the room at the time. No one was hurt. It was not a traumatic experience.
-
That was every day for my high school. I lived in the hood. We had a bomb squad twice in one school year
-
Edited by kweagas: 9/2/2015 12:27:11 AMI don't get why schools don't just add a second door to the class rooms. Shooter can't be in two places at once.
-
I'll pray for you.

We had a few lockdowns when I went to high school, though none ever involved shootings. Usually just fights, sometimes gang-related, and maybe one stabbing. The police always came. For some reason these lockdowns always occurred when I and the rest of the student council were having our meetings in the principal's office. He would always apologize, lock us inside (he trusted us in his office), and then join the police.
