I believe Destiny is heading for the subscription model. A small monthly fee like [i]Netflix,[/i] that includes all regular updates and fixes and [b]DLC.[/b] It removes these endless value debates about the content included in expansions, because people simply accept a regular fee for entertainment and forget about it. You pay for Netflix, PlayStation plus, Xbox Live etc, along with various other services - You'll pay for Destiny too if they sell it right. It saves a fortune in marketing if you can recruit players as regular subscribers in a Warcraft style campaign. I think we'll see this option before the game's ten years is up, the tide is turning in the way we pay for entertainment.
