I benched my thorn. Anyone else?
Honestly have grown to hate this weapon since I have benched it. Now it's all about the last word for small maps. And Hopscotch Pilgrim for ranged maps.
Anyone else finally bench the thorn? I hope the nerf kills it personally. Haha.
What's your load outs these days?

I've been using VoC, Vestian Dynasty, and Gjallarhorn for the lulz. Pretty good loadout. VoC = beast mode. Full auto w/ all that stabilty. Hopscotch of the scout rifles. Trolling with Vestian always puts a smile on my face as well.

1 ReplyEdited by MirageScythe: 9/2/2015 1:12:12 AMI had thorn as my first exotic oddly enough and it was fine for me since I was freshly max spec into gunslinger and had hand cannon reload gauntlets and hancannon ammo boots and chest . then I started to see people post cry baby posts "oh ! the thorn sucks so bad its pathetic !" yada yada yada. all the while i was having a blast in PvE with it and even a few PvP runs with decent results . then the BUFF came and damn If I didn't love it but I saw right away it was taken too damn far and I knew in seconds that people would bitch for a whole new reason on the forums about the thorn. sure enough bitch moan gripe about something that was days before and I quote from dozens apon dozens of posts "GARBAGE" . same happened to AR from godly to garbage in one dumbass nerf . obviously gamers have not learned to shut the hell up about nerfs and buffs since bungie only knows how to buff to the heavens and nerf to hell . either way though I will remain in PvE until bungie pulls head from ass and sets mind to balance for PvP . as is I would rather wax my crotch than play PvP .( PvP is a bigger hot mess than I would make waxing my jewels ) edit: before op gets offended I am speaking in general not directly at you .

I never liked it. also hate going against it but it's so satisfying when I kill someone using thorn.

This is like saying I'm benching my party crasher for a her benevolence with target assist. All the easiest weapons to use in their category. Personally thorn ruined other weapons for me. It kills too fast, let's me know where they are and keeps them outta the game. Sad that it's that good
