I benched my thorn. Anyone else?
Honestly have grown to hate this weapon since I have benched it. Now it's all about the last word for small maps. And Hopscotch Pilgrim for ranged maps.
Anyone else finally bench the thorn? I hope the nerf kills it personally. Haha.
What's your load outs these days?

I benched mine a while ago, having more fun running around crucible with scouts or legendary HC's (& strangers rifle). I'll get it out every now & then if I'm up against a team of thorns.

2.0 = Pulse Rifle heaven. Hawkmoon is really the only viable Handcannon at this point.

It's all but useless now. People don't even flinch anymore when they get DOT'd. Looks like I'll finally be rolling a Pulse RIfle. RIP THORN.

I now mix up my weapons between 3. Tlw, suros and hard light. Used to be mida, red death, tlw, thorn and nlb.

I'll never bench it, or any other weapon that is useful in given situations. I certainly have any animosity towards any weapon, that's just ridiculous. Red Death and Hardlight are still my favourites though.

Benched thorn a long time ago. Started using scouts and pulse rifles; a lot more fun to use.

I was excited to first get it and it was my 2nd fav (next to TLW). Now, it's just a nice trophy :) unless I run into a team who are all usin it in ToO

Long........... Long ago. Hate using it. LOVE playing against it. Nothing better than out shooting Thorn users. Most satisfying thing in the game for me.

I benched thorn a long time ago. The gun has failed me one too many times, and seems to shoot BB pellets when i use it compared to people who apparently can kill in two shots. I have pretty good most aim most of the time, and that can vary based on how the day and match are going. But when i landed two head shots and three chest shots with thorn and barely even drop their shields and they two shot me, i call bullshit.

Said previously I had ditched mine but trying to get the 100 wins in skirmish made me bring it out again, that mode is nothing but 3 man teams v randoms and every team has thorn or tlw equipped, you kind of gotta be a scrub to compete.

I reread the 2.0 patch notes and it said that changes are a net buff I thought. Did you get that impression?
