Twitch.tv (I need YOUR help)

I'm a new twitch streamer and for the past couple of weeks I've been streaming myself playing destiny. I enjoy streaming and talking to the destiny community but the most views I've had is 9. How do I gain more active viewers that I can interact with whist playing video games? (Hopefully that part didn't make me sound like I'm begging for viewers. I'm not) I just want to have a channel where other gamers can watch me stream video games and have fun. So what's your tips for a streaming beginner? Let me know down below. I have a mic so I'm able to talk with viewers. I don't have a face cam (yet) I try to stream as much as possible My twitch name is- Redg8_16 Add me on ps4 if you want to stream with me, just let me know- HD_TerrorzZ

  • 1) get a face cam. It's a deal breaker. People wanna know who they're interacting with because it adds flavor to the channel and makes your channel more interactive and intriguing. 2) play as much endgame and new content as possible. No one wants to watch you -blam!- around in patrol all day. They wanna see your play style, tips/tricks, and hilarious epic fails. 3) be interesting. Talk about pop culture, world and current events. Stuff that instigates conversation and debate. It sucks people in like none other. 4) make friends with other streamers (such as myself) to promote each other's channel and spread the word. 5) preparers spend a lot of time streaming before anything happens. You're over a year late to be streaming destiny and most of the favorites have been picked so you have that working against you. Also destiny isn't the best game to get popular on. 6) make sure your fire team is in game chat because then viewers will only hear a one sided conversation and that's not only annoying but not entertaining at all. It's an entertainment industry obviously so be aware. 7) be charismatic. Develop a twitch personality as get a theme going. I'm assuming you've watched other streamers and noticed the big ones all have a theme. Broman has "brosquad" etc. not just what you refer to your followers as but also color schemes, design themes etc. it gives off a polished and professional vibe. The end. Tldr; there's no short version lol
