Demons Souls. For those of you that only know of dark souls and bloodbourne, imagine dark souls with even less of an idea of what you are doing and checkpoints only after killing a boss after the hour or so long hike to the boss room. Oh, and after a death, you go to half health and to regain it, you either need to beat a boss or use an item that makes human effigies look as common as souls.
