Alright Bungie, let's talk Lightsabers.
Bungie, let's talk Lightsabers. Ever since you mentioned Swords being added to the game, this has been running through my mind like a [b]Marathon[/b]er. Be honest I want it, and now that I've mentioned it, you want it.
Let's make it happen. Omolon specializes in projected energy right? Bam. And they like they like to work with experimental sciences? Double bam. There's your foundry to do it.
This is not a petition. Please don't sign this. But spread the news. Like this. Share it to your groups. Make sure Bungie gets this because I know the second Luke Smith hears this, it [u]will[/u] happen.

My life would be complete if I could wield a lightsaber in Destiny. Imagine the duels you could have with Crota. You could taunt him and tell him you're his father, then encase him in carbonite and hang him on the wall. Mission accomplished.

2 Replieswell technically this is our earth in the future right? so star wars would be like a classic film to them right? So Omolon gets inspired by their technological break throughs and decides to make a hive-like sword with their tech modeled off the light sabers from the classic star wars films. Plot hole filled.

They may not be called light sabers, but come the DLC after TTK, when the swords are not a special few weapons, and they appear everywhere, we'll get some laser types

I realize weapons aren't usually class specific but it would be cool to see ligthsabers that are built for each class. Like dual wielding for hunters since they are agile, double bladed or staff lightsabers for titans since they are the strongest and regular lightsabers for warlocks since they are more somewhere in the middle.
