They paid for a full game. They deserve a full game. I get leaving out minor UI elements, lowering the resolution, and not having all the same assets as the current generation, but restricting content for a game someone purchased and saying they can never get it because they don't have a different console is not okay to me.
So far all Bungie's exclusive DLC has only been timed. I can live with that knowing I'll get it all someday. However, I wouldn't be okay if they sold less than what the current generation gets on the older generation. Everything GTA V added that was left out of the older consoles was UI/interface-based, first person, and possibly some cosmetics (even that is bad though).
I would love to have more content in Destiny, but it wouldn't be right if that content wasn't available to people on the old generation. Buying a new console is not an excuse to get more content. That transaction was between you and Microsoft or Sony, not Bungie. Bungie has no obligation to "reimburse" you for you console purchase with more content.
That all said, if you were just joking, I apologise for not picking up on that, but this is a point that some people need to hear. If you were serious, I do hope I've made a strong case as to why you shouldn't hold back games who purchased a game available at the same time on all main consoles (unlike GTA V) and expect the same content when they pay for it.
