I was under the impression that the queen released him to the nine where it was never confirmed what they did with him?

Hmm. I dunno. I read the one more about the weird border thing with things coming out of its face who freed skolas.

Not sure about that personally I just know that it is believed that skolas was a gift to the nine from the queen and that they then sent him back as I personally find it hard to believe he escaped from them lol
