I am against that because if someone gets bant or loses their password they're out of off topic.

So you're against the idea of accountability? Figures.
-
You are against free speech on a public forum cause you get butthurt about things?
-
You've gone incoherent. This forum has rules designed to create an expected flow of discussion, what is the point of those rules or the moderation staff if consequences are practically nonexistent? We might as well be /b/ with less anonymity. I personally do not get angered at trivial things such as forum antics. It's obvious the same may not be so true for you as you continue to post on this thread, oh I'm dearly sorry I've attacked your demographic, I really am.

The point is there are there because this is a public place bungie has to have those rules to appear to oppose "inappropriate" posts. While in reality they don't give a shit or else they would have rules that stopped people from just making alts after they get banned. You obviously do car or else you wouldn't have made this post in the first place.
While in reality they don't give a shit or else they would have rules that stopped people from just making alts after they get banned
How exactly do you think they can do that? The moderation team can't possibly screen every new account that is made, and many people share IP addresses. The whole alt concept has been around for a long time, however never before has there been such a need from attention from individuals in the community that they need to make a dozen alts and get popular through infamy. That is a new concept. Porn spamming was so infrequent in the past, it was practically nonexistent. Now maybe that's because of the a new generation of users, or a new allowance from the lenient rules, but realistically the only way to change it is to change the rules.

I'm pretty easy to stop it you could link it to a credit card or ssn or other personal info and just ban that when the account is banned
