Quick question what type of armour are the rest of blue team wearing halo 5?
Because chief wears the mk6.

MJOLNIR is not made exclusively for a given SPARTAN program. If you have the necessary augmentations, you can use it.

I should reword my question. Is the gen2 armour a mk6 type of armour system or something that generaly S4s wear?

This is where it gets confusing. We don't know what GEN2 really is. All we know is that the term encompasses advanced and modern iterations of MJOLNIR. Is it MJOLNIR Mk. VI, is it Mk. VII? We don't know.
