His remark was offensive.
And his follow up remark didn't make it any less offensive.
North should do the right thing and apologize.
That being said, I don't think it has anything to do with Bungie.

North doesn't have to apologize for anything!! For crying out loud. This world has become a bunch of BULLIES!! "Think like we think or we'll hound you unmercifully" what a bunch of BULLSHIT!
there....I said it.
I didn't say he HAS to apologize. I said he SHOULD apologize. Of course, everyone has the right to act like an asshole. Everyone has to right to say and do and think however they like. But there is still right and wrong. If North wants to do the right thing, he'll apologize. If he doesn't think he did anything wrong, well that's on him. But it's my opinion that his remarks are offensive and I believe he should apologize. I'm not going to sit here and make anyone do anything. That's up to him, obviously.

Edited by Pavex7: 8/29/2015 1:05:23 AMThat's how it starts tho. He should apologize then becomes MUST apologize. But what he said WASNT transphobia!! He did nothing wrong.

That's not how it starts. I have my opinions and you have yours. I have the right to be upset over your opinions just the same as you have the right to have those opinions, and vice versa. What he said is offensive to nearly the entire LBGT community. You don't have to agree. But it's still true.

I'm not speaking for myself. These are the rights we have as human beings, inherently. If we take away a persons right to have their own opinions, even if we think they're an asshole for it, then we might as well take away a persons right to gender identity. Rights go both ways, my friend.
-
Exactly my point my friend. North's opinion is his & No one else should force him to apologize or say he should apologize. But please tell me how the whole LBGT community is infuriated by: "Kaitlin has let herself go"? Nothing in that statement says anything AGAINST transgender people. It was his opinion on how Kaitlyn looks.

Edited by easydoesitEZ: 8/29/2015 1:25:21 AMIt was a joke with transgenders being the punchline. No one has the power to force him to apologize or change his opinions. There just happens to be a whole lot of people who are trying to explain to him that what he said is offensive to a lot of people. If me personally said something offensive, even if I didn't realize at the time it was offensive and I didn't intend to offend people, I would unequivocally apologize for it. Because I personally think that would be the right thing to do.
