Hey Bungie, maybe not hire people that make transphobic jokes like these?
41% of transgender people attempt suicide at some point during their life. Jokes like these lead to our society not taking trans people seriously.
If you want Nolan North to do the Ghost voice for you, tell him to apologize for this comment. It has seriously lowered my anticipation for TTK. Thanks.

Sorry , but it could be meant many ways , and it's inconsiderate of you to be immediately on the offensive and calling it transphobia . It's like a person of a different race being derogatory towards another for them commenting about an issue( racism) that is very insecure with said person , even if it is innocent( not racist) and totally justifiable in the context of the question or situation .
-
Hey, how about people grow a pair and quit being so sensitive about what people say.
-
How many steps do you take before you jump to conclusions?
-
Mentioning trans gender does not mean it's phobic. There was literally nothing phobic at all about that tweet.
-
OP you haven't even beat skolas yet, that offends me. Git Gud you social justice warrior scrub.
-
Bungie doesnt own Nolan North, he can say whatever he wants regardless of his involvement in Destiny.
-
didn't see anything transphobic... be clear is it the pic? if so......grow up if something else elaborate.
-
Yeah you shouldn't make fun of the mentality challenged
-
This was dumb. We all wasted time on this. Besides the picture looks nothing, at all, like a transgender. This just made me think Nolan's IQ is lower than bungie's.
-
Who gives a -blam!- about his ignorant statements, he's just a normal person like the rest of us and everyone should recognize that. Now matter their record and popularity, people are people they are nothing more than the other.
-
Being the Devils advocate here, how do you know it was a joke? Did he laugh about it after? Ever think that he could have been drawing awareness to the problem and actually being sypathetic? Just a thought. The problem with text is you have no idea of the tone that is meant and left to the reader to interpret. I can tell you from experience I have said totally innocent stuff, and had the person reading freak out because they took it the wrong way and not how it was meant. Food for thought
-
Who cares, he's allowed to his opinion, and caitlyn jenner had to have expected some comments like these, so i'm guessing she is well prepared to handle herself.
-
And I hope he makes inappropriate jokes as I play
-
You sir, are a dumbass. No one fuxking cares. Life is about survival, how can I feed my self and my family without getting locked up or shot. It's not about what he said she said bullshit. Grow up, trip lsd, get in a firefight and figure out what worth opening your damn mouth about.

I think Venom Gasp summed this up quite well: Venom Gasb @gabriel1ashley @nolan_north You said the magic word: Cailyn Jenner. You don't joke with this person. This person is sacred. Any joke w/ her is transphobia. And hey OP, how about you edit this and include the response where he says it isn't transphobia, but a joke at an artist?
-
Edited by Seth, Knower of Things: 8/28/2015 7:22:20 PM75% of people that live in Washington state contemplate suicide at some point. See a can make stupid stats that have nothing to do with the actual concern. In my opinion, you're just trying to get everyone angry Nolan for some stupid reason. Who cares what he says? That's none of my business. He isn't god, I don't have to follow his every post to decide if he's a good human being or not. He's a robot ghost in a video game. Saying he apologize over something he said on twitter to fill that roll is quite frankly a dumb statement. You should now apologize for YOUR dumb statement. Are you going to? Probably not, so why expect Nolan North to?
-
He used the correct pronoun herself , didn't he ? Doesn't seem transphobic to me.
-
Look I'm all for equal treatment, but where do we draw the line? Jokes are made about LITERALLY every race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, profession, religion, and every other thing you can think of! Should we ban every single offensive thing ever? Because jokes would basically disappear. To that point, look at all the people that think video games are a huge negative influence. Shall we ban those too, since someone somewhere was offended? I'm not defending comments that are actually discriminatory in any way, but this was clearly a lame joke. Freedom of speech isn't always pretty, but it is his right. If you live your life avoiding or destroying things that could potentially offend you, I think you'll find yourself very lonely and unhappy in the long run.
-
Transphofic??? Wtf is that?..
-
You can't be serious bro. I bet you pee sitting down too.....
-
Not insensitive. It's more comment on misogyny than about trans.
-
Get a grip, god forbid somebody farts at your dinner table ..
-
Quit being so -blam!-ing sensitive, everyone has their beliefs, if you believe strongly against his comments then go play one of the myriad of other games on the market.
-
Why can't people laugh at transphobic jokes when they laugh at racist and sexist ones?
-
That comment he made has nothing to do with transphobia you dingleberry. Just because it's a joke related to Caitlyn Jenner doesn't mean it's transphobic. He's just calling her fat, if you find that so overwhelmingly offensive you obviously haven't gone to public school.
