Bungie Employees reply PLEASE
Long story short ive been in contact with sony's customer service and have had my purchases refunded and ive repurchased the game due to a licensing issue that I came upon, but unfortunately I am unable to download a copy of the game that I am able to play until the taken king come out in a couple of weeks, leaving moments of triumph unfinished when im so close to completing it, and sony is trying to push me off on you guys because they cant seem to be able to figure out how to resolve my issue.. Is there anything you guys are able to do or any insight that you might be able to provide, this is my second time trying to contact you. Please help!

Licensing is unfortunately, as you suspected, in Sony's hands. The year 1 content is still available on the PSN store (though it is labeled with the words The Taken King). The Taken King Digital Collector's Edition, also provides access to all of the year 1 content, in addition to the Taken King when it launches.
