What are the benefits.....
what does having a clan give you, or how does affect you beside in game clan name.

For me, always having teammates to run Crucible with. Me and 2 of the guys in my clan are undefeated in Salvage since we started playing it together. As a result, my win percentage in Salvage is 89%.
