My second son is about to be born

Thorin Tyr is ready to go as I race home from work. He will be another one of my greatest achievements and I can't wait to meet him and add him to the clan. He and his brother will have a lifetime of awesome. I have thanked his mother, my wife, a million times over and my bosses for believing in my strengths. But now I have some other people to thank, it will be these guardians. Because when it's late at night and the wife needs a full night of sleep, I will be holding my newly minted thunderous God of battle while he slumbers, with a controller in hand. If you die and I don't res you, dooty calls. If you stand on a plate while I stand facing a wall, the screams of war have echoed. And while this may drive you mad, I thank you for your understanding that this will keep me sane. Also, thanks to Bungie, for giving me a game that always has something to grind. While flawed in so many ways and with an unrealistically high amount of expectation on its shoulders, Destiny ain't to -blam!-ing bad. Thank you to everyone and wish us luck! Update: 8lbs of raw awesome, born right in my own home.

  • Congratulations! I'm a dad of two myself but I've got to be honest finding a fireteam that's patient enough to exept me dipping out at times to do dad stuff is so hard. No matter how quick I can change a nappy. Teach me how to make this work and I will be forever in your debt! Congrats again dude.
