Why do Guardians go out and kill each other in the crucible and they don't stay dead and are not attacked by the fallen and all of those people
English

The Crucible Reclamation Squad goes out into the wilderness to find abandoned areas where they can set up shop. They probably set up perimeters to keep the minions if the Darkness out. The Crucible, to the citizens of the City, is like our Monday night football: it's entertainment. For us Guardians, it's training against smarter and more skilled enemies
-
Wrong! The Crucible was set up to punish guardians who fled the battle of the twilight gap
-
Uhh, no it's not. Shaxx created it to train Guardians in a safe (more or less) environment for the Dark forces outside the City. I believe it's televised in the City
-
I've read the lore. And what I said was true
-
Where does it say that?
-
I read it on planet destiny somewhere. I wish I could send the link but I can't find it. The very word Crucible means, " a place or occasion of severe test or trial.
-
I know, that's pretty much what I said. It's a place to train and test your worth. But it is in no means a punishment
-
It was formed to punish the ones guilty of fleeing the twilight gap. during the battle of the twilight gap titans ruled sepreme, the warlock order thought themselves to intelligent to die for a worthless cause so they fled. Ana brey which was a hunter in turn stole blink from ikora Rey to secure her escape. lord shaxx and the titan order held the the twilight gap for 7 days alone. After their victory. lord salidin was tasked to find those who fled the twilight gap and punish them.
-
I honestly need proof of all of these claims
-
It's in the lore homie
-
But where? NPC dialogue, grimoire cards, Bungie interview, article, what?
-
I've read wrong. It was the iron banner that was created to punish guardians. You were right about the Crucible
-
I'd believe that. Lord Salad Man is a bit extreme
-
You were right sir. Sorry for the confusion
-
Nah it's cool. Arguments are how the community learns. Just as long as no one throws a shitstorm, arguments are just fine
-
If you're on xbox 1 add me
-
I'm on 360 unfortunately
-
I read it on planet destiny. It was long ago when I was interested in learning the back ground story. I'm trying to find you a link buddy
-
I just wished they would explain the circumstance s of our training matches, for example in Halo 4 the pvp was revealed to be a simulation to test our skills, or in assassins's creed where the actions were practiced in the animus. So what safety measures are put up so our Guardians don't die permanently
-
Ghosts simply stand by for revive. It's illegal to damage or shoot at another Guardian's Ghost. That's how Dredgen Yor killed Thalor and Pahanin
-
Hmmm ok
-
The Crucible visits inactive areas, places deserted by the enemies that were there before. All deads in the Crucible are revived by Ghosts (well, most of them)
