If you take your guns forward that would require them to have content as the focus. With destiny I have alway felt like gear was the goal (yes also enjoyment and fun with friends). It's that drive to collect all the guns that motivates us. If they let us carry our new gear onward, what are we playing for? A sh 1tty legendary that is a huge balancing act of stats? The raid and strike would be boring after a few runs. If they make good guns this would never be a problem, so the fact they are doing this points to more shank burn type weapons.
I'm worried this is a desperate attempt by them to get in more cash grabs with low content and high prices. Wait, doesn't another franchise that Activision publishes do the same thing.... hmm.

Edited by AttilaTheNvn: 8/29/2015 6:15:42 AMThe thing is, TTK does look like it's brining better content to the table, not just gear. And, personally? I've always bought the DLCs for content, not gear. In fact, the reason I'm attached to certain gear is because of the content it came from! My Adept primaries from my first Flawless runs, my first Helmet from HM Atheon, my vanilla Vanquisher VIII from my first New Monarchy package, etc. It's not just gear or content; they compliment each other. ...and Bungie is crapping on both of them in TTK. -_-

This, the onus should be on Bungie to create content and weapons where I CHOOSE to leave a weapon behind, not giving me the option is just lazy and shows a lack of faith in their ability to create something better and appealing to those of us who put a lot of time into playing this game.
