I love how we just had the huge dames of destiny issue with the sexist remarks and here is another group of people only wanting a certain gender

You mean the sexist remarks made AGAINST female gamers and the Dames of Destiny? Yeah, I can't imagine why female gamers would want to have safe space from remarks like that...

Yes, I find its superhelpful when folks like you place blame for people's terrible behavior on the people on the receiving end of the behavior. How about stopping for a second to think about how creating a space free from that kind of abuse is not a threat to anyone who actually wants to move gaming beyond this kind of bs? It's only a threat to the folks who would prefer women stay barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen making them some sammiches. Nice job letting us know where you stand, and thanks for the bumps - always appreciate getting our recruiting post back to the top of the forums.

The dames troll was typical. It has happened. To plenty of women and girls. It continues. All the time. your faith in humanity is commendable, that you think people can be reasoned with and forced to make good decisions... It belays your youth. That is not how the world works. Me being female and shooting imaginary monsters with some kid is not going to fix years of environmental influences that have turned him into some woman-bashing troll with no empathy. It's up to people's family, friends, and society in general to make that kind of behavior unacceptable all day every day. So if you have any friends or family that act like hooligans, do us all a favor and take action. In the mean time if I want to get a nf done quickly without spending ten minutes waiting to see if I'm going to be hit on, insulted, or treated like I'm incapable, I'm running with my lady friends. And again for the record, we don't exclusively play with girls, many of us are in other clans as well and play with friends and family and lfg randos. We're not cloistered nuns.

This group being so visible may make you think we are elitists that only play with women but we are trying to draw out ladies who have been mistreated or are unsure of themselves. We hope that this group is a stepping stone for new gamers, a way for friends to stay in touch, and that it gives confidence to all those mic-avoiding ladies who love to play game destiny but can't take the heat of a troll now and again.

Maybe because you're implying we bring this abuse on ourselves? How does disbanding all female groups stop the abuse?Why are location,age and skill based groups okay but gender groups aren't?
