Too Much Negative Feedback. This Needs to Change.
Hello Guardians,
As of late, I have noticed a ton of negative feedback regarding TTK/exotics/legendaries etc. and it really needs to change. Have you ever stopped to think about all the hard work that Bungie employees put in every day to make the game what it is today? The employees at Bungie work night and day to try and make Destiny a better game and they really do not get much appreciation at all.
Imagine yourself, a Bungie employee, and coming home from work to see all the hate and negative feedback on these forums. Probably not a good feeling.
There is really only one simple solution to this and that is: Constructive Criticism. Destiny is a game, and it's not perfect, no game is. But hating and flaming on these forums is not going to get anything done at all. As guardians we should all be mature and firm when trying to get a point across. We need to be respectful and know our limits when trying to make a point on these forums, and only then will Bungie respond and heed our advice.
Please guardians, keep this in mind when posting on the forums, and excuse any of my grammar errors.
Edit 1: Over 100 replies, thanks for your feedback guardians! I see a lot of comments saying that Bungie "deserves" all this negative and hateful feedback because of their inability to make changes in the game that people like. Destiny is a game, and like I've previously stated, it is not perfect, and never will be. It is our duty to help Bungie make improvement to their game, and they won't take our advice if we're throwing so much hateful criticism their way.
What I'm trying to communicate is simple. Destiny is flawed like many other games and needs our feedback to help make it better. The only way to actually get things done is to communicate it constructively and not hatefully.

But the Negativity remains because i am tired of my game and the way i play radically altered at bungies whim, because they decided to suddenly go in a different direction. Fix the issues, pick a direction and stick to it. Altering stuff every few months to suit the designers needs instead of the consumers is not a good way to keep a customer base.

Sure every game has its flaws, but how many are as flawed as destiny? I'd say this hand is probably the most disappointing title from last year with the lack of story and content, overhyped promises that never made the game, the constant weapons tunings, and all of the bugs and errors that still occur on top of that. So although some people may go a little overboard at times, I would not say it is unwarranted. Especially when we don't know if they are really listening to what we have to say.

I would like to see more constructive feedback. Pretty much 95% of the forums is just hate. We understand, you really hate this game because someone kept killing you with a Matador, but do it in a respectful way. :) [spoiler]Forgot to mention its freedom of speech[/spoiler]

I do completely agree with you man but let's face it, the majority of humanity is deprived of common sense, mostly never thinking before speaking, the destiny community isn't much different sadly as the game has incredible amounts of potential! If every negative comment had a possible fix with it bungie would likely have fewer issues fixing the game many seem to claim is total crap and not worth $40..... Lol I'd like to rant quickly on those complaining on the $40 they'll have to fork out for TTk... If your mad that they are charging you for their work stop and think, you go to work and are paid a wage of 15 per hour, you do 6 hours work for someone and they give you that $90 they'd owe you.... Math adds up and makes sense too many of us so why so many people are bitching that 40 is to high a price tag to enjoy an improved version of a game you've already likely spent over a week of game time in baffles me

Your second paragraph talking about something not feeling good... A years worth of investment of time, money, and commitment wiped away in the blink of an eye is not a good feeling.. I suspect that if said bungie employees that you are so concerned about took the time to see where the negative feedback is coming from, the root causes, and then at the very least would show some transparency as to why they feel they need to make the changes that are causing all the hate, or better yet, engaged in open communication to address some of these concerns, then, and only then, would you find that feedback might become a little more respectful, and eventually objective and maybe even positive. The issue is a lack of respect.. And most people, when shown a lack of respect, stop showing it themselves.

Fact: Bungie says they don't want us thinking about how hard their job is. That's not our problem. This isn't kindergarten. They don't need their feelings protected. If they do something bad they need to be told it's bad and they need to fix it, and if they don't fix it they should feel bad.

If they quit trying to reinvent the wheel every 3 months, listen to the players, and fix what's actually broken. I'm sure there'd be a lot less criticism. Until then -blam!- you and -blam!- them.

Something I have noticed is this, far to many ppl on these forums takes constructive criticism as a nothing but negativity. Most of the topics I have read about the release is honest criticism but it devolves into nothing but arguing. Another thing we need to realize is that if a game is amazing then naturally there will be less negativity but if the negativity keeps growing it is because of bungies bad responses to the reasons.

I could link you to many posts that I have mode offering suggestions that haven't gone anywhere. This community wants to rant and won't do anything to help improve the game

Turning a blind eye and acting like everything is gravy isn't helping either. Negative feedback is better then no feedback so keep it up guardians. Letting our honest opinions be heard is doing far more to help this game then it is hurting it. I don't care if Bungie employees don't like what we are preaching bc it's all true. The majority of this community has major issue with what Bungie is trying to do. If this many people agree there has to be something wrong with them not us.

If you watched the video they released before Destiny was even released you could see how different (better) the game was, what we have now is a repetitive, cash consuming monster. Destiny had promise before greed took over.....
