Oh I got this. When SUROS ran out of "smartmatter" to manufacture SUROS Regime's, a guardian created a synthetic smartmatter. This synthetic smartmatter proved to heal him after each kill. He started to go insane with "Red Death", going on a mass killing spree.[spoiler]Feel free to correct me Tree of Ruin[/spoiler]
