Fusion rifle petition
As we know, fusion rifles are the least used special weapon type in Destiny. Fusion rifles were a very good, borderline OP weapon type until they were nerfed. Ever since then, the weapon has become obsolete, and useless, which is sad because it is such a cool concept to have an energy weapon. In the weapon rebalancing notes in Update 2.0, we all expected a significant buff, something that will stand a chance against shotguns, but we were hit with very little adjustments, and a slight nerf!? Suggesting a PVE oriented base damage buff to make them a legitimate option for AI ass-kicking.
Please help bring attention to a dying weapon type in Destiny.

1 ReplyHell nah, I would take op hand guns eternally before going back to Fusion Rifles that could kill at scout ranges. I hated Crucible during that time.

2 RepliesOnce The Taken Wallet is released, I think Fusion rifles will be more viable because of other weapon nerfs. Hopefully that will slow the rate at how quickly people are dying and give fusion users a longer window to get the kill.

And it one hits everything with a distance a little more then a shotgun. It's all about timing. Edit: PvE needs major buff though. They arnt useless, but anything else is pretty much better.

1 ReplyBump. I agree. I used to use fusion vs shotties, but it's mostly all shotties now. They need a base damage buff for PVE. I think if Bungle can get a handle on separating weapon stats between PVP & PVE it would help tremendously.
