As some of you may know, Microsoft is dropping support for the 360 in 2016. I've gotta upgrade or be left behind and I don't want that. I want to know, what's the community think? PS4 or XBone?
I don't wanna leave my XBL progress behind but I'd have to shell out another 100 and potentially have a smaller community to play with.
Hoping for some good discussion.

Depends. Do you plan on playing lots of games, or just destiny? But Xbox one has a better variety of games, however I think that the ps4 is a better system overall.

Edited by Clean Joey: 8/30/2015 5:00:09 PMXbox one is great! If you use it for more than just games and just wanna switch between apps that don't boot up again from leaving, then you should go with that. Id be playing a game like Gta v and switch between a bunch of apps and shit and I have instant control over them right away with little to no stutter. On my friends ps4 it sucks you gotta close certain apps or a game before using something else. Also, the graphics difference isn't that much of a difference anyways. If you want superior graphics then just buy a PC man.
and ever since I went from PS3 to Xbox one, the controller is just God
I honestly hate the ps4 controller, personally I thought that my PS3 had a better controller(lol).

Get PS4 btw

Edited by Spartan6056: 8/30/2015 11:55:46 AMYou should build a PC. It'll last much longer and perform better. I can help you find parts if you tell me your budget.

I voted ps4 because I do believe it's a superior console, but you should go wherever you have more friends. I love my ps4, but I bought an xbox 1 as well because of my friends. The xbox 1 has been the worst console experience I've had, but I don't really mind because it's where my friends are. Maybe one day they'll switch to ps4 and I can use it for more than just exclusives :'(
-
I'd choose XBOX ONE since that, as an average gamer, the exclusives are better than the PS ones. Although PS4 is the more superior, I still think XBOX ONE as you can have a better time with better exclusives.

Get what your friends are on

Changed from PS4 to Xbox One 3 days ago. Both are great consoles my recommendation is choose the console were most of your friends are, that was a great factor why i changed. Graphics are almost the same, there isn't too much difference between them. But what i've notice is that PS4 having more shadows makes the console lose some fps, i feel that the xbox is more smooth. Online quality, Xbox Live is better, PS4 has mantainance almost every 3 days, its very annoying. Xbox's support is far better than the PS, PS support is awful. Exclusives: right now i prefer PS4 exclusives but the incoming exclusives for Xbox look awesome and promising, not just first person shooters as always.

PS4. I got more friends on Xbox One and still PS4.
-
ps4 ps4
get a ps4. it is Baus
Things to consider: 1) Friends, probably the most important. 2) Price, enough said. 3) Exclusives, look into it ^_^ 4) Controllers, I Hate the playstations controllers just because of the way they are, much too small for my preference. Hand cramps come quick and often. Xbox however has a ( IMO) much better style of controller. The joystick locations are just amazing, and the extra size helps with the hands

I would recommend which ever one your friends are playing. Games are always more fun with friends.
-
Xbox one has- gears of war ultimate edition, halo master chief collection Ps4 -games which I don't give a shit for and crappy exclusives since sonys desperate Here comes the ps4 fanboys to annoy me
-
Ps4 gets all the new cods Xbox doesn't.

Ps4 for the content, xbone for the competitiveness. I've played CoD in both consoles and I gotta say, I'd get rekt in xbone and I'd rek in ps4. Xbox players are much better. Service wise, xbone has a better network system. But remember xbone tries to be too much, a media center, and geopardizes a bit of game fidelity. Ps4 is for the most part a gaming console so it's got a bit of a better quality in games. In the end you should go for the one thing all gamers should. What consoles do your friends use? Since all games nowadays are multiplayer I admit it's super boring to play without friends.

PC or Xbox...or PC and Xbox. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It depends on what exclusives you would rather play. For me playstation has the exclusives I want to play and that I would recommend to people to play.

Xbox is getting a lot soon

If you already have a 360 then it makes sense to upgrade to the One. Some of your 360 games will become playable on the Xbox one. You can also watch blue ray and DVD movies on Xbox one. One bummer though you can't use the HD DVD player on Xbox One.
-
Xbox has more exclusive games this fall. While playstation opted for exclusive content on several popular titles. But then again since you already have a collection of Xbox 360 games you'll be able to use some of them on the Xbox one in November. It all comes down to where you have more friends playing, a game is only as fun as the people you play with.

Go with Xbox BC most of your friends are there. I mean I'm on ps3 but yea go with the xbone
-
I would say an Xbox One personally i can not stand Playstation controllers they are too small
-
if your Xbox 360 is 250gb or more trade it in at gamestop, they'll be giving $100 towards a ps4
