Destiny: The Hunters Chapter 1. Becoming Legend The air was Crisp as I sat in the tower watching the pretty birds just flock to us like we are a beacon of Hope, the air remained gentle and as I sat there on those very steps I waited for my five friends so we can form our fire team and go after Oryx and bring his wrath to a halt. Hello there Humira our team is here, I think we should discuss what weapons to bring, we have two titans for defense and two hunters and me and you the Guardian calls out to me, I turn to see him standing there with the rest of our team at the vault and just talking to one another, me and my friend have lost much and we built this motley crew through hard work. Some have their own personal reasons to defeat the Darkness and some just want revenge and avenge their lost loved ones. Now as for me I just protect the innocent and my friend here follows me like my right hand man should. He puts his faith in me and I will not let him down. Alright Fire Team! I yelled in a defiant voice reaching across the stars, we shall bring Oryx to his knees and show him why his pitiful son Crota had failed, this is our moment we become Legend, let’s carve our names in the Fabric of Time! I tell you this that no matter how deep we go into the Darkness we shall not be corrupted and be brought down, we will go into the Darkness headstrong and we will fill that VOID WITH LIGHT! I tell you simply that I will not let my friends die, put aside your differences and lets gain our world back, let’s start our new beginning of our next Golden Age. With you all I know in my heart that everything we have done up until now will not be for Nothing. We brought Atheon to his fall. We murdered Crota and now his Father is here to his Ass kicked and then we lay waste to the Hive and send them scattered back into the Darkness of Space. We shall make them flee from our combined Light. So I ask you, are you with me till the end? Are you ready for War? Humira Declared. Samuel Lion, Viola, Ham, Seth King, Xyer and I Humira are ready to head to the Dreadnaught, we took one last glimpse as we left the tower and then entered the Void of Space, the universe sure is beautiful when you just sit there and look at it, but being reminded what lurks out there in the edges of space angers me, I suppose our generations long gone has always wanted something like Star Trek to actually happen. But this isn’t how they pictured it. As we leave for Saturn in our ships we go past the reef and notice that there are a lot of Patrols going on, they must of pick up on the danger of Oryx and now we must head to the Dreadnaught. A message is being patched in, Guardian at the Request of the Awoken we are informed of a Distress signal coming from Phobos and since you are near there please go check this out. Zavala out. You Ham, Seth and Xyer you go help the Awoken we will catch up once we are done on Phobos. Understood sir let’s roll out guys! HOOORAAA! Ham yelled, Heh Xyer chuckled. As we entered Phobos’ Atmosphere we saw Cabal buildings in fire and others being Decimated and ruined. Cabal were fleeing and we Descended to the ground and we stood and witnessed the Horror, now I know for me personally the Cabal aren’t really my enemy but rather an annoyance and now I feel bad for them. We must aid them in this fight, we saw a shimmering dark like Orb just fling past us, as if it were telling us to follow it, now we go Guardians but be Vigilant and weary we have no idea on what to expect in there, as we made our way inside we saw a gravely hurt Cabal and I just stood over it and my Fire Team tries to yell at me, something else was going on, I put my hand up and knelt down over the injured Cabal and I looked at as it looked at me, it’s armor torn and it’s helmet Cracked. I laid my hand on its shoulder and healed it and repaired its armor. How I did this I have no idea to be sure. But to be honest it felt good. I turned towards my team and saw what they had been yelling at me about. A Colossus standing the front of the base, it turned towards us after it just murdered a lot of Hive. We readied our Weapons and then the injured Cabal whom I saved, and yelled past us then the Colossus just stood there, and turned around and shoot a few more Rockets into the taken base and started to move aside, the one Cabal must of informed him that we helped his ally out, I suppose the enemy of my enemy are my friends for now. As we moved past the Colossus wearily and started to run into the taken base, we knew those last rockets of his was to clear a path for us, we felt the ground cry beneath our feet. Then that light showed up again and started to move slowly as if it were guiding us to the enemy. Was it something to do with The Stranger? I wondered, not knowing what we would see. I heard gruesome noises coming from that Dark room in which the light went into, suddenly a screeching noise rang out and it hurt as we watched these orbs suddenly appear and these Cabal and Pison’ just appeared and they looked possessed, so this must Oryx’ army Viola explained, he takes in other enemies and transforms them into these poor lost willed monsters. It’s only right we put them down. Well said Viola and we will Samuel replied and we began our first descent into battle against his army known as the Taken, we got pushed back and we looked at each other when suddenly that Colossus barged right in and laying waste to the taken that was pushing us back, we had no idea they were so powerful, the way we are now won’t be enough to bring down Oryx and end his wrath. We need more power and our Vanguard mentors may tell us how. We head back to the tower. As we stood in front of the Colossus I raised my fist signaling a fist bump to acknowledge we are allies in this war. It raised its fist and bumped it and it roared shooting rockets off. Maybe perhaps this is the beginning of a new alliance. It would be a wise one at that, we three turn around and head straight back to our ships our Ghost in tow. We looked back as the remaining Cabal also turned to leave and head towards the Dreadnaught. Their ships speeding out of Phobos as of now Phobos is lost. Back at the tower we regroup with Ham, Seth and Xyer we walked down through the Hall of Guardians and we spoke to the mentors, Cayde-6 looking all nerdy and impatient as usual I chuckled. Zavala just stood there as a machine and Ikora too. They began to explain the lost power of our Forefathers. Long lost powers that may lend us an edge to defeat Oryx and his army of Taken. tell me what you think?
