The Whirlwind was the Eliksni's version of the Collapse. Unlike us, the Traveler abandoned them, and left then to fend off the Darkness by themselves. The term 'Whirlwind' might come from the fact that the Traveler leaving the atmosphere would -blam!- shit up pretty badly, considering her size and mass. The House of Rain was wiped out, the House of Judgement was decimated, and the House of Scars was later destroyed by Winter. The Fallen followed the Traveler to our system, and arrived in the wake of the Collapse
