Doesn't Bungie see all the negative feedback? Surely they know they are doing something wrong...
There has been a lot of talk about the exotics and legendaries being removed or nerfed, so why doesn't Bungie do something about it? Are the rumours true? If they are, I don't think a single player is going to be happy! All of our hard work and time!
There have been rumours that it's "too late to make changes", but even if that is true, I think we'd all be much happier if they delayed the new launch just to make a few tweaks! I hope they do that, because I really don't want my (hard earned) gear messed with!
Also, just because an exotic (like the Gjallahorn) is OP, doesn't mean you have to nerf it! The whole reason people work so hard to get it is because of the fact that it IS OP! It's ruining the whole experience and excitement of getting the gun in the first place! Please Bungie, don't nerf our exotics!
Please, if you agree with any of my points or opinions, please say so! We need to get the message to Bungie! Don't throw away all of our hard work! Please Bungie!

Bungie thought process: "F*ck you, we have your money."

Petition to allow optional infusion on year 1 legendary weapons: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/148284067 Personally, I feel like the end game activity legendary weapons from VoG, CE, IB, PoE, and ToO should stay with us like Exotic weapons.

Bungie are what Microsoft was 10 years ago. In fact Bungie is even run by ex Microsoft people, and I don't mean the bungie guys who wrote halo, I mean actual old style MSFT employee at the helm! it is sad to see a once interesting company go down hill so fast.
There have been rumours that it's "too late to make changes"
It's not too late for Bungie to save the relevance of Year 1 weapons and armor.

bump!

Greeed....Pure Greed happened to Bungie! D:

Bungie is dead. Bungievision is all that remains.

Look at how Blizzard handles powerful weapons. They don't. They leave them be. Because they are fun to play with.

Edited by Unforgiven: 8/27/2015 2:03:27 AMThey don't even consider feedback forums important feedback anymore. The new feedback forums are Destiny Reddit thats heavily moderated by their little pets.

Too much spent on crack and hookers. At least now we know where this year's 50 mil went lol
-
They won't fix it. They rarely listen to feedback. As long as people throw money at the screen, listening to feedback is irrelevant to them.
-
Whilst I agree, I can't see them changing what they've announced now. Until the next DLC anyway, when who knows what will happen. Each DLC changes the fundamental structure of the game's mechanics. By Destiny 10 there will probably be just one boss and if you kill him you get everything made in the game ever - both simplifying the game mechanics and sorting the RNG problem, whilst also appealing to new Destiny players. Bungie is happy, shareholders are happy...only people who aren't happy are the loyal paying customers (who seem to be quite low down on the list of people to satisfy these days)

They see $'s. That's all they see. They don't care what players think. The reason for the level increase to 40 is to push their Redbull partnership so the focused light have more purpose. Bungie has become a joke of a developer. By the end of the 10 year series there game will have to be rated E for everyone because only children will still be playing.

GameInformer calls the negative feedback "a handful of detractors"
-
Nah because they don't give a flying -blam!- about the community. They've already proven that they'll blatantly lie to us and contradict themselves if it gets us to buy their stuff.
-
They are listening,but not answering.

The drop rate is so low for weapons like the vex and fatebringer. We worked so hard to finally get them and then now they want to leave them behind. Why expand destiny with expansions only to make old content worthless. There are guardians still hunting the vex, fatebringer, and other weapons and for what? Why would anyone want to play the old raids after ttk release? So many questions and no good answers.

Bump It really takes the wind out of your sails to know those exotics you have spent so much time grinding for in The raid The nightfalls The end game content And that you have spent countless hours leveling up and putting weapon parts and materials into Will not be able to be upgraded to higher damage values or defense ratings. Or IF it is an exotic that will be "allowed by Bungie" to be upgraded to year two stats you have to RE-BUY it for 150 marks and RE-UPGRADE it !!! After the last time when Bungie forced that and it failed and they told players it was a mistake and they would never force them to do that again !!! Here's Bungie's quote from LAST TIME they forced exotic upgrades on players during The Dark Below :
Bungie Weekly Update - 12/04/2014 by DeeJ “The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete. Since the reveal, we’ve read a lot of ideas for how this could have been done better. Your feedback is clear: The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected.” Looks like we have been played! #saveourexotics
The problem is that they refuse to give destiny a TRUE identity. If you ask people what the expected/wanted you'd seriously get these responses. -I wish it was like borderlands because of loot. -why isn't this game like halo? Where is their tried and true pvp style? -This game is shallow, it's nothing like elder scrolls. -there was a story?! They can't even do the genre justice like mass effect. -where's the PVE content? There's nothing here unlike insert MMO name here .

Wouldn't it be nice. Unfortunately, IMO, they are selling enough to allow them to ignore those of us that are on the forums asking questions and requesting answers that aren't hyped for marketing. Until people stand united, they won't feel that they need to change their modus operandi.
-
Dear Community, We hear you,...we don't have an adequate answer for you so please give us one more year's worth of your money in order to come up with a story of plausible deniability and technically feasible but improbable rationale for our behavior. Sincerely, Bungievision

Phase 1: Sell Destiny to new players for such a huge discount that they will ignore the bad ratings and bad press. Phase 2: Abuse long time players who already gave you enuf money to pay for the first 5 years of development. Phase 3: Profit.

I'm starting to think they have no idea what they're doing.. just kinda randomly adding things to the game. The new weapons look like nerf guns. Why neon green stripes on my gun? What kind of camo is this? I'm right here come and get me camo? I really think the peeps that left before launch last year really affected the games future. Doesn't seem to have the same vibe it used to, guns especially

I think old exotics and legendaries should go unless it's raid or ToO specific.
