Jerk or Justice? You decide!
Tell me Guardians ... Am I a jerk or did I get justice?
Just was running the weekly heroic with 2 others (they were together). I was running voidwalker and creating massive orbs with bad juju and obsidian mind to help my fireteam.
All going well until I get to the cliff at the Nexus. I stop on the cliff and begin to snipe the minotaurs and the other 2 guys push me off. I fall and die, they t-bag me and don't revive me right away.
They eventually revive me but then hide behind the pillar while I try to clear house. I die without the help. They t-bag me again.
I switch to sunsinger and gain my super. I then run right under the Nexus and die. I watch them as they try to start fighting from behind the pillar. Helpless, they both die. As he wipe counter hits 1 second, I resurrect run across the map to behind the pillar - and have a seat. I wait for both of them to depart.
1 sends me a nasty message - I responded that they shouldn't have been trolling in the weekly to start. I basically solo the boss as 2 others join and we finish up.
You be the judge! Am I a jerk or did I get justice?
*this is the first time ever I've had issues with randoms in the weekly heroic*

Edit 2: those saying I was camping of cheesing, thanks for your opinions. I think there's a difference between cheesing and strategical spots. Boss can still damage me and I have to fight a major Minotaur - to me that's not a cheese if I'm fighting a major, DPSing the boss and covering my fireteam. That's my opinion. But it's funny that people will say that's a cheese and it's terrible, then swing across the Crota bridge everyone lol
Edit 3: wow! I didn't expect this to be trending and to get this type of response! Thanks for the kind words Guardians. I know deep down that the overwhelming majority of this community is positive. I was just sharing a story from today and trying to participate in the community. Cheers!

Honestly, I would have done the same. Also, I'm not sure how it's cheesing if the Minotaur that spawns behind you is basically a Demi-God. Get real, the dude freaking shreds.

I had 2 worthless teammates for the Heroic earlier. One sat at spawn until the Servitor part was done. Then they both ran past the Minotaurs and other Vex before the Nexus, and I ended up dying trying to kill them solo. Then they both died at the Goblins and caused us to wipe. I sent both of them a message that said "worthless teammate." During the boss they both died, and I refused to revive them. I killed the boss by myself and teabagged both their bodies until the mission end.

I hate people who are annoying or lazy in weekly, last week me and my friend went in and the other guy followed us and would only shoot when we were looking at him, he ended on like two kills to both of our 80+

Same shit happened to me once, except I never got revived. I'm glad you did it, and I encourage you to do it again if that ever happens.

In the end it hopefully taught them something. It normally seems harsh ,but most of the time these guys need to be hit with a hard wake up call before they realize people will troll them back if they decided to troll.

Naw, that was good on you. Quick (devious) thinking on your part to force them into the fight. I've been fortunate, very few bad experiences ... but they do happen.
